BzzAgent Jacobs cracker crisps review

Hello readers
This is a review for the new Jacobs cracker crisps product. I trialled all 3 flavours Thai sweet chilli, sea salt and balsamic vinegar, and sour cream and chives. I should note that whilst I was not paid for this review I did receive one large sharing bag of each flavour as well as some money of vouchers in return for my honest opinion on the product. All opinions are my own and honest in my opinion.

The first thing that struck me about the product was the attractive packaging. They are presented in nice bright vibrant colours which made me want to dive in and get started straight away. The first bag we tried was the sea salt and balsamic vinegar variety. Unfortunately I am unable to eat salt due to a medical condition so I relied on my 3 boys to help me out on this flavour and they were only to happy to help lol. They informed me that they really enjoyed the flavour and would I put them on the shopping list for them to have again. From a mother's point of view the size of the bag was perfect for my 3 boys and the bag of cracker crisps would make a welcome change when watching a film together instead of the usual popcorn. I tried the Thai sweet chilli variety and have to be honest I really did not like them in fact I spat the product into the bin. This being said I really don't enjoy any spicy food product. My eldest son on the other hand informed me I was mad and that they were delicious lol. He was certainly happy to finish off the bag himself and as with the sea salt variety he has asked for me to buy these again. We then tried the sour cream and chives variety on a recent picnic and in my opinion this was the best of the 3 flavours. The product was intensely flavoursome and had an air of luxury about it. The one thing we couldn't agree on was the texture. Was it a cracker or was it a crisp ? The best way I could describe the texture would be a crisp encased in a cracker shell but you will have to taste the product for yourself and make your own determination on that one. The regular retail price on this product is £1.99 and in my opinion that is way to high. Whilst the product is nice I do not think it is worth that sort of money. I would like to see it priced at around the £1.00 mark in order for it to feature on my shopping list regularly or £1.50 as the occasional treat at a push.

So would I recommend Jacobs cracker crisps to you all ? Unfortunately no I would not or at least not at its current price. I just do not feel they are worthy enough of that kind of price tag.

Currently on offer in Tesco at £1 per bag.

Kind regards

Flash Liquid Gel (Lemon)

Hello readers
This review was for the lemon version of flash liquid gel. I should note that whilst I was not paid for this review I did receive 2 free bottles of flash liquid gel in return for my honest opinions. All opinions are my own and completely honest in my opinion.

Flash is a well known product however I had never actually heard of the flash liquid gel before being asked to trial it. The product comes in a nice compact easy to use bottle. The bottle even has a cut off device fitted so that you always use the correct amount and don't end up using to much. This is a feature I really liked and am yet to see on other products of this type. The product is an all purpose cleaner and therefore can be used for the majority of household cleaning jobs negating the need for half a dozen cleaning products. How nice to have only one or two bottles in the cleaning cupboard rather than a half a dozen taking up space. I have used the product in various different areas of the house and have been pleasantly surprised with its performance. I have used it in the kitchen, the bathroom, on the floors, I even used it to clean some grubby marks off of one of my doors. The cleaning power of flash liquid gel is fabulous it brings things up lovely and clean and I noticed that I did not have to use as much elbow grease as I usually use with my regular cleaners. It also cut through the dirt much more quickly than my regular cleaner therefore saving me both time and energy. The lemon version of this product is wonderful it has a lovely scent which permeates the house when cleaning. After cleaning my bathroom the whole of upstairs smelt lovely for the rest of the day. I decided to get some feed back from a friend of mine who is a cleaner so gave her a small bottle of the product to try out and give me her honest opinion on the product. She informed me that she has used the product in the past but has only ever used the blue version. She told me that whilst the blue version has the wonderful cleaning power you expect from a flash product the lemon version has both the cleaning power and a nice scent to accompany it. As a result my friend is now making the lemon flash liquid gel a regular on her shopping list as am I. The regular price for this product is £2.50 for 400ml which I consider to be a very fair price for the time and energy it will save you when doing those tedious cleaning jobs. So would I recommend this product to you ? It's an overwhelming yes I love this product and it will be replacing the majority of my other cleaners.

Lemon Flash Liquid Gel is currently on offer in Tesco at £2 for 600ml so grab yourself a bargain and try it out for yourself.

Kind regards

Review of Bold 2 in 1 lavender pearls

Over the last few months I have had the pleasure of trialling Bold 2 in 1 lavender pearls. The first thing I noticed about the product was the lovely scent the product had. I have always liked the smell of lavender and to find a laundry detergent that combined the cleaning power of bold with the lovely scented softener of lenor was an exciting prospect for me. I also have two son's that are autistic and as lavender is supposed to have a calming effect I was excited to see whether this had an effect on my boys moods.

Firstly I would like to address the cleaning power of the pearls. All my clothes came out fabulously clean and fresh. I did not have to add additional stain remover to any of my Bold washes. There was some talk on the project forum of the pearls not dissolving properly and a slimy residue being left on some of the clothes. I have to be honest here and say that over the course of eight weeks this only happened to me once and I believe that was because I had put to much dirty washing in the machine. I simply removed the slimy residue off of that particular item of clothing and threw that item back in the wash with the next load.

Secondly I would like to address the fabric conditioning element of the product. I have to say not only did the clothes come up clean and fresh but they also smelt fabulous and were super soft. In fact I would have to say that the clothes came out significantly softer using Bold 2 in 1 pearls than it ever has with my regular softener. The scent was definitely the winner for me though as whilst I didn't notice any significant changes in the boys moods I did find myself having a cheeky smell of my clothing throughout the day. On one occasion I was asked what the lovely smell was and explained that it was a laundry detergent I was trialling.

Now here is the negative part of my review. At £3.98 for 12 pearls I find this price does not sit well with me. I would be much happier paying £3 for 12 pearls and think that would be a much fairer price for the product. Sure you pay for quality and this is a really good product but I do believe there are products on the market equally as good but at a cheaper price.

So would I recommend Bold 2 in 1 lavender pearls ? Yes I would as they are a really good product that does the job they are meant to do and does it well. I would however state that I myself would only purchase the product when it was on special offer, when I had a money saving coupon, or should Bold choose to reduce the products price to what I feel is a fair price of £3 for 12 pearls.

Whilst I was not paid for this review I did receive a free 12 pack of Bold 2 in 1 lavender pearls to trial and provide feedback on. All thoughts and opinions on the product are my own and truthful in my opinion.

Kind regards
